Have you seen Google’s new Wedding Planning tools? They’ve set up several really useful tools for planning and sharing wedding details, including Google sites with beautiful templates to create your own wedding site; Picnik photo editing tools for touch-ups, as well as creating cards and save-the-dates; Google Docs for  planning and scheduling; and Picasa Web Albums for sharing your photos with loved ones. The design details are the result of a collaboration with planner extraordinaire Michelle Rago.

This suite of tools is fabulous for the DIY bride, though the use of templates still won’t provide the absolutely one-of-a-kind uniqueness that you’d get if you worked with a designer.
