According to The Knot, Inc.’s third annual survey, Maine, Hawaii, and North Carolina have the most casual weddings. (The most formal are in Detroit, Chicago, New York City and surround, South Florida, and Connecticut.) The survey was of 18,000 couples married in 2008.
